What fun we had sharing this week! Kids brought in all sorts of living and nonliving things! We discussed all the questions we needed to ask in order to determine if something is living or nonliving.
Does is need food and water?
Does it grow or change on its own?
Does it reproduce?
Does it breathe?
(and a kindergarten favorite) Does it produce waste?
